In accordance with Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) $13-909, an applicant may request that the court vacate the conviction for the crime of prostitution committed prior to July 24, 2014, under A.R.S. $13-3214 and/or Scottsdale Revised Code (S.R.C.) $19-5. The applicant must provide clear and convincing evidence that their participation in the offense was a direct result of having been a victim of sex trafficking pursuant to A.R.S. $13-1307.
